Boutique hotel experience

Our family had a wonderful experience at Hotel Varenne in July, 2009. The ambiance is lovely with a private garden at the entrance and sitting rooms in the lobby area. The bedrooms are clean and quiet. The location lends itself to convenient nearby sites such as: the Louvre, D’Orsay, Orangerie and Rodin museums, The Invalides with Napoleon’s tomb, and quaint brasseries. Likewise, we were able to purchase fresh baguettes, fruits, vegetables and cheeses within the block. Needing some assistance with reservations and tours, we found the staff to be most pleasant. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
